Affirming Anglican Catholicism Canada

Affirming Catholicism Canada
Affirming Catholicism Canada is a work in progress! Associated with our sister organizations in the U.K. and the U.S.A. we are at present in the process of discerning how best we may develop a Canadian expression of this organization. AffCath is committed to a catholic orthodoxy and orthopraxy in Anglicanism which stresses the ministry of all baptized people and includes working for the full inclusion of women and gay people in the ordained ministry of the church. At present, the patron of AffCath Canada is the Most Reverend Andrew Hutchison, former Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada. Our executive in Toronto consists of the chaplain, the Reverend Robert Ross, and the co-convenors, Mr Jeff Creighton and the Reverend Andrea Budgey.
